A family walking together toward their child's future

How it works

You do not need to be an investment expert. The calculator guides you through the information needed for an estimate.

Tell us about your plan

Enter your child's age, province, current RESP amounts, and contribution plan.

Choose your assumptions

Select a contribution schedule and an estimated annual rate of return.

Review the projection

See the estimated future balance, yearly details, grants, and growth in plain language.

Government support, explained simply

The calculator estimates programs that may apply to your family. Eligibility and amounts depend on current rules and the information you enter.

Canada Education Savings Grant (CESG)

The federal government may add money to an RESP when eligible contributions are made. Some families may qualify for an additional amount.

Quebec Education Savings Incentive (QESI)

For eligible Quebec beneficiaries, the province may add money based on RESP contributions. The calculator labels this as the provincial grant.

Canada Learning Bond (CLB)

Eligible children from lower-income families may receive federal education savings money even when no personal contribution is made.

RESP

A Registered Education Savings Plan is an account created to save for a child's education after high school. Contributions, grants, and investment earnings can grow inside the plan.

Your information stays private

Your entries are used in your browser to create the projection and are not sent to a Piroozlabs application backend. A plan is stored on your device only when you choose to save it.

An estimate, not financial advice

The results are planning estimates, not guaranteed grant amounts or investment returns. Government rules can change. Confirm important decisions with your RESP provider or a qualified professional.
