Privacy notice

Effective August 22, 2026. This notice explains what happens to information when you use the RESP Calculator.

Information processed on your device

The calculator processes the information you enter in your browser or on your device. Calculator inputs are not sent to a Pirooz Labs application backend. Province, language, theme, and onboarding preferences are stored locally.

A plan is stored locally only when you select Save plan, and you can delete it from Saved plans. Because this information remains on your device, Pirooz Labs cannot retrieve or delete it for you.

Exports, official sources, and feedback

When you export results, the app creates the file at your request and may retrieve the fonts needed for the PDF from Google Fonts. The file leaves the app only when you choose where to save or share it.

Opening an official source takes you to a third-party government website. Selecting Send feedback opens your email app; your email provider and Pirooz Labs then receive the information you choose to include. Feedback is used to respond to you and improve the app and is kept only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes. Do not include sensitive personal or financial information in feedback.

Hosting and third parties

The website hosting provider may process standard connection information, such as an IP address, browser or device details, and request logs, to deliver and protect the service. The app does not currently use advertising or behavioural analytics.

Third-party websites, email services, and sharing apps have their own privacy practices.

Any update to this notice will show a new effective date; material changes will also be communicated through the app.
